EXPRESS INFORMATION · TL;DR

TL;DR: house edge is a long-run model measure

It is not an identical fee charged every round and does not predict a session. Exact figures require current primary documentation.

  • RTP and edge are complementary where valid.
  • Individual rounds can win or lose.
  • No target guarantees positive expectation.
  • Progressions increase exposure.
ARRIVAL INFO · EDGE-01

Relationship between RTP and house edge

Where a verified RTP exists, the complementary theoretical edge is commonly calculated as 100% minus RTP. This relationship cannot justify copying a figure from another operator or old screenshot.

GATE 02 · EXPECTED VALUE

Winning rounds can exist within negative expectation

Expected value weights possible net results by probability. A positive cash out does not prove the underlying long-run expectation changed.

GATE 03 · CASH-OUT TARGETS

Targets change the trade-off

Lower and higher targets alter potential return and settlement frequency. Neither automatically removes the mathematical advantage.

GATE 04 · STAKING PROGRESSIONS

Increasing stakes does not change the endpoint

Martingale-style systems increase the amount exposed after losses. Finite balances, bet limits and long loss sequences prevent unlimited recovery.

GATE 05 · PRIMARY DOCUMENTATION

Verify exact figures in the applicable version

Use current in-game information and official provider documentation. Record the version and review date; do not infer RTP from a small round history.

The edge is not a short-session prediction

A house edge is a theoretical relationship over a very large number of outcomes under stated rules. It cannot tell a reader what will happen on the next round, whether a particular cash-out will work or what one session must return. Short-term results can move in either direction.

Changing behaviour does not automatically remove it

A lower target, two panels, automatic cash out or a staking progression changes how a session is played. It does not turn an uncertain game into a guaranteed positive return. A plan may control stake size, time and stopping rules, but not the next endpoint.

Check the applicable game information

If an RTP or similar figure is displayed, confirm it in the rules for the specific game version and operator context. Do not copy a number from an unrelated website or use it as a promised refund. For a real-money decision, the full possible loss remains the practical starting point.
